Visit to Germany

The band has recently returned from a very successful visit to the Hochsauerland area of Germany. A 56 strong party spent 10 days staying at Hotel Dietzel in the village of Herdringen.
Over our stay we participated in Schutzenfests in Holzen, Neidereimer and Bachum; enjoyed a social evening with our friends from Muikverein Herdringen as well as visits to the Veltins Brewry, Signal Iduna Park (home of Borussia Dortmund) and Fort Fun.
Our party ranged in age from 3 months to 80 years old and it was great to see all members of our party joining in the activities so enthusiastically. Many of our members are already looking forward to our next trip. Horrido!
